Reverb online: room, hall or temple
A dry recording made in a small room can sound flat. Reverb adds the natural ring of a space around the voice, so it sounds fuller and more pleasant. Echoly's reverb starts at zero, and you raise it slowly while listening, so it never sounds overdone by accident.
Reverb or echo?
Reverb is the smooth ring of a room, hall or temple; the Room size slider decides how long it rings. Echo is a clear repeat of the sound after a short delay, like calling out in a valley. For speech and bhajans, a little reverb usually sounds best; echo is good for special moments or the last line of a song.
How much is enough?
For narration, an Amount of 10–20 % with a small room size keeps every word clear. For devotional singing, 25–40 % with a large room size gives a spacious, temple-like feel. If the words start to blur together, lower the amount.
Add it to one part only
Select the last word or line before opening Reverb to make it ring out at the end, a popular touch for kirtans and poems.

Questions about the echo & reverb
Why is there no effect when the window opens?
Reverb deliberately starts at zero. Raise "Amount" and you will hear it grow live.
Can I add reverb and background music together?
Yes. The Voice Studio adds echo and soft background music in one step.
Can I remove reverb from a recording?
Not fully. Removing room echo is much harder than adding it, so record in a soft-furnished room if you can.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Move the slider with your finger and listen live.
